Today, March 8th, we commemorate women heroes. There are too many to list, of course, but The Good Times will highlight a few inspirational women who have made a real difference or who have even altered the course of history. Over the next several weeks, we will draw special attention to the accomplishments of such people as artist Artemisia Gentileschi, disability rights advocate Helen Keller, philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, computer scientist Margaret Hamilton, and advocate of educational and social equality for women Mary Wollstonecraft, among others.

The Good Times over the years has regularly focused attention on extraordinary women, including Ada Lovelace, Hedy Lamarr, Amy Purdy, Simone Veil, and Mina Guli, to mention just a few of the remarkable women we’ve featured. All have contributed to important causes, instigating change for the better.

So stay tuned. Meanwhile, here is a sampling of a chosen few
