“Worth 100 Men”

Here’s news of a project that has the potential to reach millions of women and men and to open new perspectives for women’s empowerment in Arab-speaking communities.

It’s the exclusive Arabic radio fiction series entitled “Worth 100 Men” (Be 100 Ragl), which aims to spark a new debate on the role of women in society and discuss their everyday challenges and opportunities. Entertainment in this case is truly being used constructively for social change, and to discuss sexual harassment in Egypt, women’s rights and the role of women in society.

The radio fiction will air on radio stations throughout the Arab world starting with Egypt and the Palestinian Territories in early 2014.
