More and more people are talking about all that dogs are capable of doing. They can be loyal and provide love and and companionship, and many are the sight, hearing, and mobility of individuals, or provide emotional support. 

And dogs have even been used to predict earthquakes. One study shows that some dogs can detect earth tremors, with increased activity and anxiety observed 24 hours before the quake. What’s more, dogs can find physical objects that are warmer than their surroundings. This ability, along with their amazing sense of smell, makes them capable of following a trail to find people or objects. These tracking and rescue dogs are excellent for finding missing persons.
